Section Public Service, which belongs to the Project Department, is recruiting the Public Service Editor. The Section is responsible for editorial-related tasks in various product/project teams, including but not limited to editorial services related to:
1. Encyclopedia journal;
2. Preprints.org;
3. Conference submissions, 
4. Proceedings Series submissions,
5. Other expanded editorial-related tasks from project/product teams.

Responsibilities:

• Organize the peer-review process for submitted manuscripts/submissions and coordinate editorial decisions

• Handle email communications between the parties involved in the manuscripts/submissions peer-review and/or publication process

• Ensure that scholarly manuscripts/submissions are accurately edited and published according to tight deadlines with a high degree of consistency

• Collaborate with the various products/projects, journals, and the conference teams

• Complete other assigned editorial-related tasks

Requirements:

• Master’s degree within the past three years

• Major in any natural science, technology, medicine, engineering, and mathematics-related disciplines

• Strong English skills in written and spoken language

• Excellent communication and coordination skills

• Detail-oriented and customer service-oriented

• Good learning ability and capable of multitasking

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing needs

• Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
